Bronwen Kiely November 12th, 2012 at 12:54 pm Dear Paul, I'm so sorry to hear you have left us, far too early. I loved working with you at AW. You had such passion and drive. Courage to speak out for the little people regardless of the cost to yourself. A huge heart and a wicked sense of fun. Thank you for being a mentor and a friend. I'm sad my move to Sydney meant I didn't see you more recently. And I regret that I didn't get the chance to tell you in person how positive an influence you were for me. I hope you just knew. Thank you and farewell. Bronwen x |
Sue Ahearn November 11th, 2012 at 11:20 pm We shared lives at 3AW, a history in NZ, stories over great dinners and a love of life and talking about the world. What a wonderful generous friend. I will miss you! |
Terry Laidler November 11th, 2012 at 10:45 pm My predecessor at 3LO, despite leaving in controversial circumstances, he never held this against me and became a great friend dinner companion, here and in his beloved Bali. Glad I had the chance to farewell him in person and astounded by his spirit in the face of his final challenge. I'll miss him sadly. |
