6 March 1920 - 27 September 2010
Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.
A time is set for birth, a time for dying.
A time for sowing, a time for pulling up.
He sets a time for sorrow, a time for joy.
A time for searching, a time for losing.
A time for saving, a time for throwing away.
A time for love and a time for peace.
A tribute to Tom -
We had the pleasure of knowing and loving Tom over many, many years (decades, in fact) and we'll miss him greatly. But, we will remember and reflect on the good times - of which there were many.
Our lives are better for having known and loved him ...
We believe the following reflects some of the many facets of the man who was Tom ...
The Man ...
Who has lived well, laughed often and loved much;
Who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children;
Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
Who leaves the world better than he found it;
Who has never lacked appreciation of earth's beauty or failed to express it;
Who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had,
is the man who well used the life he was given,
is the man who will be remembered always with love and affection.
